Plastomer, Ethylene-based

Ethylene based plastomers (POP) are a range of copolymers based on metallocene catalysis utilizing butene or octene comonomers. These resins are commonly used in film packaging applications and offer exceptional sealability, great optics, excellent organoleptics, high oxygen transmission rates and exceptional toughness.

Typical applications include film for meat, cheese, fresh-cut produce, dry foods and stand-up pouches as well as modifiers for polymer compounds.
