Polyamide 666 (PA666, nylon 666) is a copolymer of Nylon 6 and Nylon 66. As a copolymer, Nylon 666 offers advantages of both Nylon 6 and Nylon 66. Nylon 666 is known for its excellent melt flow, wide processing window, excellent surface finish, good impact, and good mechanical properties. Nylon 666 can be processed by most standard processing methods.
Applications for Nylon 666 include those where the combination of stiffness, impact strength and good surface finish are required. Nylon 666 is used in interior, exterior and under-hood automotive applications, electrical and electronic applications, household appliances, and connectors. In addition, Nylon 666 is used in fibers, filament and film applications.
