Nylon 6I/6T is a high temperature, high-performance nylon that offers higher temperature resistance, lower moisture absorption and better retention of properties compared to nylon 6 and nylon 66. Nylon 6I/6T is commonly used in underhood automotive, mechanical engineering, and applications requiring high strength, stiffness and hydrolysis resistance. Nylon 6I/6T offers the highest melting point of the high-temperature nylons.
