Polycyclohexylenedimethylene Terephthalate (PCT) is a thermoplastic polyester based on polycyclohexylene-dimethylene terephthalate chemistry. Key characteristics of PCT includes low moisture absorption, long term heat resistance, excellent chemical resistance, good hydrolysis resistance, high CTI and arc resistance, low dielectric constant and dissipation factor. PCT is primarily processed by injection molding.
Typical applications for PCT includes electrical and electronics, connectors, ignition coils, automotive connectors and LED lighting.
