Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) is a thermoplastic polyester produced by the reaction of terephthalic acid and ethylene glycol and can exist as an amorphous or semi-crystalline polymer. PET offers excellent mechanical and thermal properties, chemical resistance, and dimensional stability. PET is process by most common processing methods. PET is commonly used in fibers, fabrics, sheets, bottles, home furnishings, furniture, computer mouse pads, power tool housings, and automotive components such as wiper arms, housings, and electrical connectors.
