Entec Polymers offers the full range of Dow products that can be used to impact modify polypropylene compounds. The most commonly used products are the ENGAGE™ polyolefin elastomers as they offer an excellent cost / impact performance balance, including cold temperature impact. Dow INFUSE™ olefin block copolymers offers excellent impact performance, especially at cold temperatures. They also make an excellent compatibilizer for PP/PE blends. Dow VERSIFY™ polypropylene based elastomers offer good practical room temperature toughness and maintain clarity in clarified polypropylene. These modifiers are commonly used in the range of 5% to 30% loading level depending on the desired impact performance of the final compound.
