HYPRO-F® reinforced polypropylene compounds offer excellent strength and stiffness, chemical resistance, and temperature resistance with a balance of low density. HYPRO-F® compounds are reinforced with glass fibers or minerals and are used in engineering applications where the properties of polypropylene are needed but with higher mechanical performance than unfilled polypropylene resins offer. HYPRO-F® is used in automotive and industrial applications requiring a good balance of properties and performance and can often replace glass-reinforced nylon for reducing cost and light-weighting.
