Polyamide 610 (PA 610, Nylon 610) is a copolymer of Nylon 6 and Nylon 10 and therefore offers a balance between the properties of Nylon 6 and Nylon 10. Key characteristics of Nylon 610 include a high bio-content, low water absorption, good dimensional stability, good chemical resistance, and good processability. Nylon 610 is mainly processed by injection molding and extrusion. Typical applications for Nylon 610 include hose and tube, cable sheathing, automotive components, connectors, electrical housings, gears and bushings, brushes, sheet and profile extrusions, and film.
