Polycarbonate / Polybutylene Terephthalate (PC/PBT) blends are produced by blending PC with PBT to product products that offer the best properties of both polymers. PC/PBT is know for its excellent chemical resistance, high impact performance, excellent weatherability, good heat resistance and good processability. PC/PBT is processed by injection molding, blow molding and extrusion.
Typical applications for PC/PBT include automotive components such as door handles, body panels, tailgates, and spoilers, glove boxes and other interior automotive trim, oral care components, beer kegs, road markers, and power tool housings.
