Inquire Now!Polypropylene is a thermoplastic polymer and one of the most commonly produced plastics in the world. There are two types of polypropylene; homopolymers and copolymers. In each category there are a number of products offering different properties which allow for a wide range of uses. Some of the properties polypropylene offers are chemical resistance, elasticity and toughness, fatigue resistance, insulation and transmissivity. In addition, PP has the highest flexural modulus of the polyolefins, is among the lightest of the engineering thermoplastics (SG=0.90), and has excellent moisture resistance. Polypropylene is used for caps and closures, appliances, furniture, housewares, packaging, films, fibers or automobiles.
Polypropylene is a semi-crystalline polymer that is resistant to many chemical solvents, bases and acids and is used in diverse applications such as packaging and labeling, textiles, stationery, plastic parts and reusable containers.
