Impet® PET ECO-R

Our PET grades with the ECO-R designation contain up to 25% post-consumer recycled content. Celanese seeks to use stable sources of recycled content for consistency, quality and performance in our end products containing recycled material.

The reduction of energy consumption is key when replacing metals with durable plastics. With our range of Impet® PET grades, the auto and appliances industries, for example, can still benefit from the stiffness and the high temperature resistance while making parts with integrated functions. Chassis and supports for motors made from Impet® PET grades can reduce production steps, but also provide a higher energy efficiency thanks to its lighter-weight characteristics which enable sustainability downstream.
