For over 50 years, Ascend Performance Materials Vydyne® polyamides have been known for their quality and reliability. Today, they’re also known for their performance, even in harsh conditions.

As the largest fully integrated manufacturer of nylon 6,6, Ascend has a unique ability to tailor their material’s performance to meet customers’ needs, from handling extremely high temperatures to damping high-frequency vibrations. Ascend manufactures hundreds of grades of Vydyne® PA66 and PA6 resins and compounds, including neat resin, impact-modified, mineral-filled, glass-filled and outdoor weatherable products.

Vydyne® is used around the world in automobiles, cable ties and fasteners, consumer goods, electrical and electronic products and industrial equipment.

Vydyne® AVS (Anti-Vibration Technology)

The lightweight solution to easily reduce NVH

Introducing Vydyne® Anti-Vibration System: it’s a sound idea.

Specifically designed to dampen noise, vibrations and harshness while providing you with enough rigidity for EV vehicle structure, Vydyne® AVS cuts cabin sound and reduces part weight. AVS technology outperforms traditional PA66 when it comes to vibrations, especially at higher frequencies like those found in EV motors.
